Voted Ireland's "Craft Beer Bar of the Year" in its first year of operation in 2013 sums up this city centre pub. The draught selection is exclusively Irish craft representing the extensive range from O'Hara's brewery (located 20 minutes from Kilkenny in Bagenalstown) plus other local guest beers on rotation. The bottle list boasts a wide selection of domestic and international craft beers and ciders and the pub also boasts an extensive Irish whiskey range. The 4-beer sampler tray is a great way to start the evening and the friendly staff are always on hand to assist your selection. The pub also has regular live music events, DJ's, beer club, arts social club and there is always something happening. And if you are hungry the stone baked pizza range is available from early until late. Make sure you pick up a loyalty card and earn a free beer on us!

There’s live music from local artists as well as regular spots by cutting edge music producers and DJ’s.  Our event nights are very popular and include live music several nights per week, open mic nights,  DJ sets such as ‘Mellow Mondays’ and “Sunday’s Soul Supper”  plus various event nights showcasing local performing artists. Watch our Facebook page for news of our regular features and upcoming special events.
